Castelldefels CD-08 · pure volumes and Mediterranean light.

A single-family home where straight-lined architecture and large windows blur the boundaries between the interior and the garden, creating a modern refuge bathed in natural light.

Located in Castelldefels, this house is projected as a play of solid volumes opening up to the landscape. The facade combines the purity of white with the rough texture of dark slate stone, anticipating the material contrast that defines the interior. The design prioritizes spatial fluidity: the day areas turn towards the pool and porch, allowing family life to flow in constant connection with the outdoors.

The central element of the interior design is a spectacular staircase that doubles as a bookcase. This lightweight white metal and wood structure connects the floors vertically without blocking the light, becoming a functional sculpture that articulates the passage between rooms.

The kitchen and dining room form a large open space designed for sharing. A spacious island with a wooden bar and technical countertop presides over the room, complemented by a dining area under a black teardrop chandelier that adds a touch of drama and sophistication.

On the exterior, the modern architecture anchors itself to the terrain through natural stone walls and large sliding glass doors that reflect the garden and the pool, achieving a harmonious integration with the surroundings.
