Sant Gervasi F22 · Kitchen design and bespoke furniture.
A gastronomic space that redefines the heart of the home, where the purity of modern lines meets the warmth of natural wood to create a functional and welcoming atmosphere.
A gastronomic space that redefines the heart of the home, where the purity of modern lines meets the warmth of natural wood to create a functional and welcoming atmosphere.
This specific intervention on Sant Gervasi Street in Barcelona transforms the kitchen into the central hub of the home. The project opts for an open layout featuring a large sculptural island that zones the space without dividing it, achieving a perfect balance between the efficiency of a workspace and the comfort of a living area.
The design is articulated around a central island that plays with material duality: a monolithic volume in veined porcelain housing the cooking area, embraced by an oak wood breakfast bar that adds warmth and defines daily use.
The perimeter furniture, with smooth fronts and neutral tones, integrates into the architecture, concealing storage and appliances to offer a clean and orderly visual reading. An open niche with wooden shelves and integrated lighting breaks the uniformity, creating a decorative corner that dialogues with the bar. Lighting plays a key role: a suspended black linear fixture adds a graphic and contemporary counterpoint above the island, while technical lighting and LED strips under the cabinets emphasize the textures.
The ensemble is completed with a fluted glass sliding door, which allows filtered light to pass through and subtly connects the kitchen with the rest of the dwelling.
